With its expansive reach of Southern California, and its large budget, KCRW is one of the largest and most influential NPR stations in the country. KCRW has long been very influential in music programming -- its morning show "Morning Becomes Eclectic" has broken many international and independent domestic music acts nationwide. Nighttime and on weekends, the music mix is very eclectic. KCRW also plays a lot of spoken word content like short story readings and radio drama. Their public affairs programming includes the excellent news show, "Which Way L.A.?," and "To the Point," both featuring Warren Olney. (MM)
