Now programmed by Southern California Public Radio, an offshoot of Minnesota Public Radio, KPCC has jettisoned some of the most original music programming in Los Angeles and become just another boring NPR News station. While there are some local new programs on the station, much of what they have to offer is just the same NPR feed as on KCRW. Amongst the few bright spots of local interest on this station is Kitty Felde's "Talk of the City", aired 2-3 pm, and Larry Mantle's "AirTalk" weekday mornings at 10.
